The LGM showing is located on an unnamed tributary of Moore Creek, approximately 12 kilometres west of the Iskut River and approximately 30 kilometres northwest of the Bob Quin airstrip.

The area is underlain by sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group, which are intruded by K-feldspar porphyry dikes. A carbonate-pyrite-sericite-silica alteration zone contains anomalous gold.

In 2018, Surge Copper Corp. on behalf of International Samuel Exploration Corp., conducted a prospecting, rock (13) and soil (410) sampling, an induced polarization geophysical survey (approximately 5 kilometres) and a diamond drilling program (508 metres in 3 holes) on the LGM showing. This property contains the Lucifer showing and is prospective for epithermal and alkalic porphyry style copper-gold mineralization.

In general, the mapping and contour soil sampling program did not show significant potential for mineralization away from the main target area (Lucifer West). The drill program was designed to test IP anomalies and coincident anomalous gold-in-soils in the Lucifer area. Best reported results from Assessment Report 37883 are outlined in the following table (true widths unknown).

Work History

In 1990, Noranda commenced reconnaissance prospecting, geological mapping, rock, soil and stream sediment sampling in the area. In 1991, Noranda optioned the Lucifer property to a venture between Akiko-Lori Gold Resources and Koala Resources. ALK Ventures carried out an IP survey and tested a porphyry target carrying anomalous gold mineralization, with two-hole drill program. In 2006, Paget acquired the Lucifer property by staking and carried out a limited verification program between 2006 and 2008.

In 1991, one of the two holes drilled intersected 15.1 grams per tonne gold over 1.36 metres and 0.7 gram per tonne gold over 5.7 metres (Assessment Report 21091).

In 2010, the property underwent a limited soil sampling program by the More Creek Property Syndicate. This was followed by contour soil sampling (530), by Unique Resources in 2011, defining a 250 by 300 metres anomalous zone along a northeast trending structural corridor. Further works by Unique from 2012 to 2014 included soil sampling (240) and limited trenching and rock sampling (35) across the zone. The Lucifer Syndicate carried out limited rock sampling and petrographic work in 2017, prior to International Samuel Exploration carrying out trial drone surveys, high resolution photographs and topographic mapping and soil sampling in an area east of the main zone.
